Shaking and Baking: Turn Your Protein Shake Mix Into A Delicious Dessert

Shaking and Baking: Turn Your Protein Shake Mix Into A Delicious Dessert

Sometimes the biggest hindrance to weight loss isn’t our own habits but the pushback we get from our friends, family members and co-workers. How many times have you put your best foot forward to cook a healthy meal for your family only to hear the whine, get the blank stare and the flat-out refusal? If you’re having trouble getting your family on board with your healthy meal choices surprise them with a little creativity in the kitchen!

Who says protein shakes are only for drinking? One of our office favorites is the TLS Whey Protein Shake by Nutrametrix.

Whey protein is an excellent source of branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs). These basic building blocks, including leucine, isoleucine and valine, are particularly important for muscle growth and retention, as they promote healthy protein synthesis in human muscle.

Not only are they fantastic for a morning smoothie, they’re also great mixes for baking too.
