29 Jan Mindset Mastery: YOU Are The Superhero
|
Hello friend,
I’m willing to bet that if I asked you to name three things you loved as a child you’d say that one of those things was a good story. If you are anything like me, I’ll bet a good library book filled with magic, mystery, and intrigue kept you lying awake at night, flashlight tucked under your covers, holding your breath as you quietly turned each page. Or maybe it was Batman, Star Trek, Star Wars or any number of captivating television shows filled with suspense about who the real villain was.
While we are far from the age of childhood, we are not far from the stage of wanting to experience a good story. In fact, every night that we lay down to sleep we tell ourselves the story of what we hope the next day will bring.
“I’m gonna look into that swimming program over at the gym. I really need to lose this weight.”
“I’m gonna get on Google and see about starting my own business. I’m really sick of this job.”
“I’m gonna see about that writer’s retreat I saw last year. I really want to write my book.”
But daylight comes and the alarm clock rings. Notifications buzz on our phones. Text messages and emails cloud our minds as we stand in the shower and 9am watercooler chats about nothing spectacular leaves us exhausted before the day has even begun.

Angel, Please Give Me My Workbook Now! |
What I hope you will remember this week is there is no Batman, Superman, Captain Kirk or Spiderman coming to save the story of your life. If anyone is going to magically appear and just suddenly make your life better, just know that person is always going to be you.
It’s your clarity about what is a priority in your life that will make it become a priority.
It’s your courage to stop telling the victim story that’s going to help you stop feeling like a victim.
It’s your confidence to start taking action that’s going to help you achieve what it is that you say you really want.
Because the only superhero that truly exists in your life is you.

I Want This Workbook! |
I created a new workbook, My Year In Review, just for you.
It’s designed to help you take a look back over the past year to honestly reflect on what really worked for you and what didn’t. It’s designed to help you get clear on what you truly desire in your life and create a solid, no-holds-barred, kick-ass plan of action to start pursuing it. And it’s designed to help you embody the confidence you need, deep down in your heart and soul, to become the superhero you already are in your life.
This Is What I Need, Angel! Give It To Me Now! |
Life is precious and life is short, friend. Time to stop playing small and start design the life you truly deserve.
You got this and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
