Writing Alone Together: A Global Circle of Women Writers

“Writing was the healing place where I could collect bits and pieces, where I could put them together again… written words change us all and make us more than we could ever be without them.” — bell hooks
There is a version of you still becoming — a story being written, a new stage being set, a life being designed. This circle is where that happens — one word, one page, one honest sentence at a time.
Whatever you’re writing — a novel, a screenplay, a memoir, or simply the practice of showing up for your own journal — all genres welcome here. No experience required. No polished draft expected. Just you, exactly as you are today, and ninety minutes to let the page meet you.
We gather as a recurring series — free, and open to you every time.
How a session unfolds:
- Reflection — a short opening on the writing process itself: what it asks of us, what it gives back
- Breathwork — settling the body and mind, making room for what wants to be written
- Prompts — shared as an invitation, not an assignment
- Free write — unstructured time, pen to page, no editing necessary
- Sharing — optional, always. Your words, your pace
- Closing — a gentle return, together
Bring a journal, a pen, and whatever you’re carrying.
The page will meet you there.
