In 2014, I was at a breaking point. I was working in a high-volume medical practice, drowning in paperwork, and feeling the heavy weight of burnout. I had children to support and bills to pay, so “just quitting” wasn’t an option. I was searching for a sign.
I found it in a T’ai Chi class.
There, I met a woman named Janine. She told me about a role that combined my love for seniors, nutrition, and herbal medicine. It was a position as a Nurse Practitioner performing medication management for patients with dementia.
That job changed my life—and it might save yours.

My days were spent managing the hardest parts of neurological decline: the anxiety, the behavioral dyscontrol, and the heartbreaking “early-onset” cases where lives were cut short just as they were supposed to be hitting their prime. I saw the kicking, the biting, and the confusion—but I also saw the families. I saw their desperation for answers, for education, and for a way to stop the clock.
But I also saw something else: Hope.
I began using gentle, non-pharmacological interventions. I saw how specific herbs and amino acids could support neurotransmitter conversion. I saw how nutrition could calm a brain in chaos. I witnessed how diversional activities like painting, puzzles, and music could soothe the sadness that comes at the end of life.
My realization was simple: We shouldn’t wait for the diagnosis to start the fight.
Prevention is my true goal. I don’t want to just manage the symptoms of a failing brain; I want to help you build one that is resilient, sharp, and vibrant for decades to come.
You’ve noticed the “senior moments.” You feel the brain fog. You wonder if “this is just how it starts.”
It doesn’t have to be. I’ve taken everything I learned in the clinical trenches—the neuroscience, the herbal wisdom, and the nutritional secrets—and poured it into a community designed to help you Build A Better Brain.
